Nerdy gifts for groom guys

Post by codeGlaze »

So... I've been pretty pressed for time for ... a while now and have been unable to think of/find something affordable for the 4 guys who are enduring the entire wedding ritual for me.

My budget is between $100-$125 (in total, not per person >.>), trying to find something that won't necessarily just get shoved to the back of a shelf.

So, was just wondering if any of you guys knew of something!

All of them are, in fact, gamers, but most of the dice sets I've found suck or are crazy expensive. ( That was one of the first things we looked at ... but there's a lot to look at, so I may just be looking in the wrong places. )

You can just get four stone dice sets for $120 + shipping. Maybe less if you shop around, this was just top of the google charts.

I got my groomsman six sided dice. On the "1" side, it had my name, my wife's name, and the date.

Hm. I wonder if I can get a big d20 like fbmf's idea.

I looked into the same thing and it was stupidly expensive to go with non standard sized dice. That's why I did a d6. The d20 print was unreadable when it was shrunk down that small.

Well... poop.
I have a giant plastic d20 that lights up on a max crit. Was hoping I could find something like that. XD

Damn you 3d printing for not being more accessible yet!

um... actually check your local library. It may have a 3D printer. Failing that, try googling "hackspace [your city]"
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.
